Submit Official Transcripts
New EPCC students must have their official high school, GED, or college transcripts sent to the EPCC Admissions
and Registration Department. To be considered “official”, transcripts must be sent directly to EPCC from the
other school/schools to the Admissions Registration Department.

Get the Bacterial Meningitis Vaccine
Texas state law requires entering students under the age of 22 years show evidence of receiving a bacterial
meningitis vaccination or booster dose during the five year period prior to enrollment. Submit documents to the

Take Assessment Tests
You must complete placement testing before attending a New Student Orientation. At EPCC Testing Services you will
find Assessment Calendars, Testing Fees and more information.

Meet With a Counselor or Advisor
Attend an academic advising session. First-time in college students please contact the
First Year Experience Center to meet with an advisor; all other
students please contact
Counseling to be advised.
Attend a New Student Orientation
All incoming freshman must attend a New Student Orientation (NSO) after admission into El Paso Community College.
You will be scheduled for the NSO once you complete your placement test in reading, writing and math.
Orientation sessions are scheduled several times a week at all of our campus locations.

Register Online. Once you are admitted, you'll be provided with an EPCC ID number. Online registration is
done on Self Service Banner.

Prepare For Your First Day
- Obtain your EPCC ID card. Head over to a Campus Life office, where our
friendly staff will assist you. Your ID card will be your ticket to accessing various campus facilities and
resources.
- Be sure to familiarize yourself with our online portal MyEPCC and check your student email regularly.
- Grab your required textbooks and materials.
