Program Description

The Certificate of Completion in Automotive Technology-One Year covers the first-year curriculum of the Associate of Applied Science degree in Automotive Technology. Students learn the basics behind the theory and practical application of automotive repair. Students are encouraged to continue on to the Certificate of Completion-Two Year to learn more about automotive repair and increase their earning potential. The capstone course for the One Year Certificate of Completion is AUMT 2337, Automotive Electronics.

Requirements

Students are required to obtain a basic tool kit and OSHA-approved safety glasses. First-time students should meet with a counselor/advisor regarding program requirements and scheduling before registration.
