Mr. Uxer has several undergraduate and graduate degrees from New Mexico State University; Bachelor of Science in Physics, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Arts in Educational Administration. He is a graduate of the U. S. Army Command and General Staff College (US Army CGSC). He holds Teacher and Educational Administration certificates from both New Mexico and Texas. He also holds a Texas Registered Engineer (Inactive) certificate. He has experience as an engineer in the corporate world and as a teacher in education.
As an educator he has taught for the Ysleta Independent School District – Parkland High School, El Paso Community College – Mathematics Department, University of Texas at El Paso – Mathematics Department and numerous courses for the U.S. Army to include career subjects for the US Army CGSC. His engineering assignments were with Ford Motor Company, Exxon Company USA, Kerr-McGee Corporation, El Paso Natural Gas Company, Lippman Consulting and PointLogic Energy. His most recent position was Vice President – Engineering, PointLogic Energy.
Mr. Uxer has a deep appreciation for the background and preparation the educational experience provides an individual to enable him or her to succeed in pursuit of the individual’s goals in life. He now feels that he has both the duty and the privilege to help provide the same quality educational experience he has benefited from to the generations continuing to prepare themselves for personal development and community leadership.
