Awards from financial aid programs are administered according to the laws and guidelines governing those programs. Priority is given to students with the greatest documented need whose complete applications are received by the March 15th priority date.
How to Apply
Step 1: FAFSA
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which is available at any EPCC Campus or click on FAFSA and apply online. The FAFSA is required for almost all financial aid programs and most of the EPCC Financial Aid Offices provide computers and help with completing the FAFSA.
PIN replaced by FSA ID User Name & Password
The Department of Education (DOE) has implemented a more secure and modernized log-in process replacing the PIN usage. All users of any of the DOE systems are required to create an FSA ID user name and password. The Financial Aid Office encourages you to obtain yours as soon as possible.
Step 2: Admission and Transcripts
Complete an EPCC admissions application if you are a new student. If you have previously attended any other college or university, request academic transcripts from all prior colleges/universities. The EPCC Admissions and Registration Office requires an official copy of all academic transcripts to be sent from each prior school to EPCC.
Step 3: Additional Documentation
Complete and submit any additional forms/documentation as requested by the EPCC Financial Aid office.
Step 4: Award Letter
When you receive your award letter, sign and return one copy to the EPCC financial aid office.

Very important, make sure to activate your EPCC email account and review it regularly as we send all correspondence there.

Getting Your Money
Returning the signature portion of your Award Notification authorizes use of financial aid funds for payment toward tuition, fees, and any other outstanding debts to the college.
All financial aid disbursements are paid electronically. Financial Aid recipients who have a remaining balance, after tuition, fees, and other outstanding debts will receive their refund the first week of each semester. Students can enroll to receive their refund by submitting the
Student Direct Deposit Form (PDF) to the nearest EPCC Bursar Office.
