The Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider course incorporates the latest science from the American Heart Association and teaches students how to perform CPR on infants, children and adults. The training includes the use of an automated external defibrillator, barrier devices and how to deal with foreign body airway obstruction.
The First Aid course from the National Safety Council teaches students how to deal with emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies.
