VA Programs

The following is a list of programs in which VA staff can provide information and assistance:

Applying for VA and Hazlewood Benefits

If you want both Federal VA benefits (Chapters 30, 35, 1606, 1607) and the State Hazlewood Act Exemption, you must apply for each one separately online.

We need both applications:

  • Texas Veterans Hazlewood Act Application
  • Veterans Affairs Student Certification Request

Note: If you are using the Post-9/11 GI Bill® (at 100%), you cannot use Hazlewood at the same time.

GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
