The Honors Program empowers students to grow into confident, thoughtful individuals by building strong research, communication, and critical thinking skills. Through supportive mentorship and a culture of curiosity, students learn to express their ideas clearly, support their opinions with evidence, and take an active role in their educational journey.
How do students and professors participate in the Honors Program?
Anyone can be an Honor Student! Students who are interested in earning Honors Credit are encouraged to meet with their instructor when the semester begins to agree on a research project that is appropriate for their class. This can be anything from an essay to a presentation- what matters is the research that goes into it. Following this, students and professors must fill out a contract together using the link below (contracts must be submitted by the instructor only).
