Program Description

Psychology is the scientific study of mental processes and behavior. The two-year Associate of Science in Psychology Degree prepares students to transfer directly into a Bachelor’s of Science Degree program in Psychology at a four-year institution. The Associate of Science degree calls for higher level science and math courses than the Associate of Arts Degree. Science degrees (Associate of Science, Bachelor of Science, and Master of Science) are generally recommended for individuals interested in research-focused careers or advanced (graduate) studies; however, these options are not restricted to the Science degree.
