What is the EPCC student ID card?
The EPCC student ID card is the official ID card for all students, faculty and staff of El Paso Community College. The EPCC student ID card also comes with the option to link it to a Wells Fargo Everyday Checking account for access to more than 12,500 Wells Fargo ATMs nationwide and to make PIN-debit purchases on and off campus using a Personal Identification Number (PIN) where PIN-pads are accepted. Faculty/Staff members also may link their EPCC student ID card to a Wells Fargo Checking account.
Where can I use my EPCC student ID card?
When your EPCC student ID card is linked to a Wells Fargo Everyday Checking account, you can use it at ATMs or businesses that accept PIN-debit transactions. You can also have the convenience of depositing your financial aid and payroll directly into your Wells Fargo Checking account. Transactions using your EPCC student ID card for ATM or PIN-debit transactions are deducted from your linked Wells Fargo Checking account.
What do I need to open an account at Wells Fargo?
You will need two forms of identification.
Government issued identification card from the federal, state, tribal, local or foreign government.
Examples include: Driver’s license, State issued ID card, passport, military ID.
Second identification from a recognized business, educational institution or government.
Examples include: Student ID Card, Social Security card, Resident Alien card, Matricula Consular card
What if I already have an existing Wells Fargo checking account?
You can link your new EPCC student ID card to your existing Wells Fargo Checking account by visiting any Wells Fargo banking location in El Paso.
Can I have my financial aid directly deposited into my Wells Fargo checking account?
Yes. All financial aid recipients must have their funds directly deposited into a checking account at any financial institution. Direct Deposit Request Forms are available in each Office of Financial Aid found at every EPCC campus. The money will be sent electronically to your account - no more waiting in line to receive or cash your check!

What should I do if my EPCC student ID card is lost or stolen?
You need to notify both EPCC and Wells Fargo for EPCC student ID cards that are linked to a Wells Fargo Checking account as soon as possible. (EPCC student ID card holders without the banking option need only notify EPCC.)
- To notify EPCC: Please call EPCC Police Department.
- To notify Wells Fargo: Visit the Wells Fargo banking location nearest you or contact Wells Fargo customer service at 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557)
Are there service fees associated with the Wells Fargo Everyday Checking account?
EPCC students who open a Wells Fargo Everyday Checking account will have their monthly service fee waived by linking their account to their EPCC student ID card. This benefit is available for currently enrolled EPCC students.
Where can I open a new Wells Fargo Checking account?
Wells Fargo representatives will be on campus at select orientation sessions and other designated dates. Or you can visit any of the convenient Wells Fargo locations in El Paso including the ones closest to campus listed below.

When and where can I pick up my EPCC student ID card?
The EPCC student ID card is issued at all Campus Life Offices located at every campus of EPCC. A picture ID or existing EPCC ID must be presented in order to receive the EPCC student ID card.
