Description
MDP - September 11 (10am-1pm)

We will do a Constitution Escape Room experience. Students will be asked to solve short puzzles regarding the Constitution to reveal clues for a grand prize. We will invite History professors and our Law Enforcement Academy to participate. We will serve refreshments and at 12pm we will do a Remembrance walk around campus.

NW - September 17 (10am-1pm)

The Constitution Day event will consist of two different activities related to the Constitution of the United States. The first one is a hands on activity where the students will have to write the preamble of the Constitution with quill pens in an “ancient” cardboard, making them part of the history of the Constitution, once the student completes the activity they will be rewarded a snack. The second activity is the “Constitution Around the World” where we will be showing what constitutional rights the U.S. shares with other countries, meaning those rights we would maintain should we travel to that specific country.

RG September 17 (10am-1pm)

This event will celebrate the US Constitution with games, prizes and constitution books. The Border Network for Human Rights agency will be on campus to talk to students about their rights and DACA. The activities will be a large crossword puzzle on the wall, Jeopardy, and Trivia.

TM - Monday September 17 (10am-1pm)

TM Campus Life is partnering with TM library and History instructor Mr. Navarro to register students to vote. They will be talking about citizenship and also show a video presentation about the Constitution. Students can also participate in the American History trivia.

QR code will be available.

VV - September 17 (10am-1pm)

Valle Verde Campus Life will have a Kahoot game available for students, we will distribute Constitution booklets, and we are pending confirmation of Border Network for Human Rights, who would be giving information to our students regarding their constitutional rights.
