Welding Technology Program

Welding TechnologyThe program is a self paced course involving all aspects of the welding industry.  At the end of the course all students will be at the same skill level. The program has several hands on training devices designed to give the student the opportunity to experience the tasks they will encounter in the real world. One of the trainers is the pipe line which allows the student to weld in situations found in the industry. The 13 foot high tower allows the student to experience welding in high places. The welding program follows the protocol outlined by the American Welding Society in the AWS S.E.N.S.E. program.
 
Goal:
The goal of the welding program is to train the student in all aspects of the welding industry, to help them graduate and certify from the program and to give the student the resources and skills required to obtain an entry level job with in the industry.
 
Courses Offered:
The courses offered are both credit and non-credit continuing education courses.
Financial aid and credit courses are available.
