We support professional development for our Literacy Programs instructors and provide opportunities to participate in workshops throughout the year.
 
The links below are provided as on-line resources for instructors working in the area of ESL, GED, or technology related programs for the adult education student.
 
This site is home for the Texas website for adult education programs funded by the Texas Education Agency across the state. Resources are available from the lending library to on-line curriculum materials ready to download.
 
This site provides a calendar of events for the Professional Development of adult education instructors in the west Texas region.

The Paso del Norte Literacy Council
An El Paso volunteer based literacy advocacy group with an informational WEB site that includes a searchable database of literacy, ESL, GED, and Spanish literacy providers in the community. This database includes contact information and details of services provided and at what cost, if applicable.

Learning and Violence
This site is a place to examine the impact of violence on learning, to explore ways to support learning in the aftermath of violence, and to find out about who is doing research or creating innovative practice to understand and address this issue.

The Literacy Assistance Center in New York City
One of the longest running adult literacy centers in the country, LACNY has numerous resources and fact sheets available on their web site for administrators and instructors.
