Driver Education

Driver EducationThis program covers all aspects of classroom and behind-the-wheel driving for new, teenage drivers and a separate program for adult drivers. Together with our Defensive Driving Course, sponsored by the National Safety Council, the program addresses all aspects of classroom learning and skill development for the safe operation of motor vehicles on our roadways.

Driver EducationThese courses provide basic classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel instruction to anyone wanting to obtain a Texas Drivers License. The Defensive Driving Course is applicable for insurance discounts and ticket dismissal.

Goal:
Goal of this program is to provide comprehensive instruction and skill development for the safe operation of motor vehicles on our roadways.


Courses offered:
  • Driver Education (for students 15 to 18 years of age, Program Registration, coordinated through Job Corps and area High Schools).
  • Adult Driver Education Instructional Permit Course
  • Adult Driver Education Moderate Driving Course
  • Defensive Driving Course
