Advanced Manufacturing Program

RoboticsAdvanced Technology Advanced Manufacturing is an all-encompassing program that prepares individuals for employment as Industrial Maintenance Technicians in commercial and or industrial fields. Manufacturing covers a wide spectrum of jobs and career opportunities from assembly workers, technicians, engineering, supervisory, research and management positions.

Description:

Robotics
The Advanced Technology Advanced Manufacturing program provides a great deal of hands-on laboratory experience  enabling the individuals to obtain employment in  a large variety of manufacturing facilities, refineries, food manufacturing, chemicals manufacturing, as well as construction and city services, such as water treatment plants, gas and water distribution system. As a manufacturing technician you will plan, specify, improve, and manage the machinery, processes, and production systems that produce these products.

Goal:
One of the Goals for ATC (Advanced Technology Center) is to provide to the students the ability to understand the systems that makes up the components of the modern and industrial machinery and equipment. You will work in clean, modern facilities with high tech devices such as robots, highly automated systems; computer controlled machining systems, and intricate assembly machinery. Your good people skills will be challenged as manufacturing technician interact with many other specialists inside and outside the field.

Courses offered:
This program may focus on engineering, electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, or other technologies.  ATC is offering TWO manufacturing programs that will help you in this exciting field. See Class Schedule

Job Opportunities:
Throughout the 1900's, manufacturing's contribution to economic growth was strong and robust, on par with the financial sector. Through the invention and application of technology, manufacturers raised productivity higher than ever before and were largely responsible for the low-inflation prosperity of that decade. Therefore, manufacturing is one of largest employment sector in the region.  It is possible for you to earn thirty-two thousand dollars after you complete the Advanced Technology Advanced Manufacturing program.

If you want to work hands-on with the latest, industrial-scale equipment, consider becoming an EPCC College manufacturing student! People working in the manufacturing in the field of industrial manufacturing/robotics can typically enjoy incomes ranging from $29K to more than $50 k per/year.
