How to cite an article
from Contemporary Criticism following APA

- Today,
you are learning to cite an article from the book, Contemporary Literary Criticism
which you find in the Reference area of V.V. Library.
- These
slides are NOT from a digitized book or an electronic book. They are just a "picture"
of the books that we have in the Reference area.
- The
book was scanned so you could use your computer to see how the original book looks.
- You are learning
to cite in A.P.A. an article or chapter in an edited book, reprinted from another
source. This is the case of the criticism you find in the book Contemporary
Literary Criticism.
- Remember,
excerpts are not complete articles, just part of an essay taken from either a
journal or a book and reprinted in Contemporary Literary Criticism.
- The
correct format in A.P.A. is: first, the author of the criticism: last name of
the author, followed by the initial of first name and middle name.
