Marketing Plans

Do a Subject Search under "Marketing Planning" or a keyword search under "business plan."

Use the Web.

• Go to the Valle Verde Library's Home Page.
• Click on "Internet."
• Click on "Search Engines" to do an exact phrase search : "how to write a marketing plan" or "how to write a business plan."
• Enclose the search in quotation marks! Note: The majority of the sites will be commercial, trying to sell you software or services. You will have to surf the site to see if they offer free samples and outlines; many do!

When visiting directories such as Yahoo, W.W.W. Virtual Library and others, do a search under "marketing plans" or "business plans." Caveat: Many of the results are going to be for consultants or busineses selling their services. Browse and carefully evaluate the results.

• Ask the Librarian how to cite the resources found on the Web.
