To be eligible to take the GED Tests to earn a Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency you must be an adult Texas resident, age 18 and over. Seventeen year olds may test only with parental permission and verification that they are not enrolled in high school. Sixteen year olds may be tested only by court order.

At the time you register for your tests, you will be required to provide documentation to verify your identity and eligibility to test. Review the "Registration Information" (link above) before you come in to register.

We follow strict rules of the Texas Education Agency and national GED Testing Services. Our test rooms are equipped with electronic observation systems to insure a secure test environment.
