Beginning work under the supervision of a senior designer, the interior design technician’s purpose is to improve the quality of life, increase productivity and protect health, safety and welfare in the public and private sector in both commercial and residential interiors. State-of-the-art courses such as Computer-aided Design, Lighting and Internship are part of the curriculum. Interior Design students may also participate in the Student Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Verification of workplace competencies will be provided by the successful completion of INDS 2337, Portfolio Presentation. |
