What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a web technology that allows web publishers to feed their web content in a very standardized format which can be viewed and organized by programs known as feed readers or aggregators. RSS feeds are used to syndicate highlighted content such as news or events.
How to use RSS?
To consume or browse an RSS Feed in a readable format, you need software called feed readers or aggregators. There are many web-based readers that are available on the Internet (Google, Yahoo, etc.). You can also download and install free stand-alone RSS readers that constantly search for news updates and display them on your computer. |
