MBRS-RISE Program

Program Goals


Collage of ImagesTo provide students with the tools to succeed in college, transfer to a four-year university, and pursue a biomedical research career and a Ph.D.
 
To provide employment and assistance in the learning process through tutoring, supplemental instruction and peer and faculty mentoring.
 
EPCC’s Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE) to the Challenge Program is funded by a grant from the MBRS-RISE Program at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The RISE to the Challenge Program consists of Student, Faculty and Community Development Activities. All activities are aimed at providing underrepresented students with the tools to succeed in college and pursue a biomedical research career and a Ph.D
