Women in El Paso HistoryThese are my notes on bits and pieces of El Paso women's history as I find them. In researching women's history in particular, it's important to note details that might seem insignificant at first glance, in case one finds other information later. Also, given our culture, often information about women is found through researching the men in their lives (i.e. husband, fathers, etc.) so the notes here might only state that mrs. X was married to mr. X who was important for some reason, but in researching him, there might be information about his wife found later. Ms. Sarah John has a list of women who contributed to El Paso's development. These women have a * in front of their names.
