Overview
The Small Business Management program will help prepare individuals to manage a small business and at the same time help them build an educational base to go on for a 4-year degree. Our 60 credit hour program includes 30 hours of transfer business courses and 30 hours of a variety of business offerings oriented toward helping a small business manager succeed. In addition we offer an option for real estate courses in both certificate and AAS format. These will help individuals prepare for the Real Estate licensing exams.

The full program can be taken at the Valle Verde campus, but the 30 credit hours of transfer courses can be taken at any of EPCC’s 5 campuses.
Areas of Study
Students’ area of study will include accounting, economics and business topics in both a national and international environment. The business topics will include communications, human resource management, advertising, business law, practical work experience in a business workplace, and a capstone course in small business management that will help students tie it all together for greater understanding and application.
