Welcome to the Arts, Communications, Occupational Education, and Social Sciences Division at the Rio Grande Campus.
Our division offers a wide variety of transfer courses, developmental education courses, and occupational programs that will prepare you for an exciting professional career.
One program that you will find only at the Rio Grande Campus is the Travel and Tourism course which will prepare individuals with the fundamental knowledge necessary for a professional career in the travel and tourism industry in such areas as reservation systems, individual and group travel and tour planning, corporate and incentive travel, travel agency management, planning and marketing for meetings, conventions, and trade shows; and domestic and international tourism and tourist attractions.
We are also the home for Chrysalis, our award - winning literary magazine, ranked one of the best in Texas. Whatever program or courses you choose, the Rio Grande Campus and our division can assist you on your pathway to climbing the ladder of success.
