I think if the person who has these outstanding warants is not intellectual enough to pay them off and keep breaking the rules, then they deserve to be punished and have a boot placed. I don't understand why people wouldn't purchase a five-dollar decal in the first place. Instead they'd rather pay more for the tickets?
As college students, we have a responsibility to take care of any citation issued to us. It shouldn't take five warnings to teach us this responsibility. If we aren't prepared, then we should be forced to endure the consequences. I purchased my decal right before the semester started to avoid parking tickets.

Five warnings are enough for students to know that their car will be booted. Besides, the decal isn't even expensive at five dollars. The cheapest decal at UTEP doesn't even come close to how inexpensive it is here at EPCC. five dollars is a good price to pay for the security of our car. I, for one, would like to know that my car is safe.

I don't think it's fair because many people work in the morning and don't get out until late. They don't have time to go and purchase the decal parking during its office hours. One of my friends got a ticket, and never had time to go pay it due to her work hours. And the school didn't let her register because of that.
