EPCC’s cross country teams are scheduled to run in the half marathon on Nov. 19, sponsored by Spartanburg Methodist College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Both teams will bring four runner. Gabriela Ramos, Melissa Zepeda, Crystal Chuca and Paola Rodriguez who all made All-Region and All-Conference will run for the women.
All-American Robert Menjo, Eduardo Caballero, Lorenzo Arroyo and Vincente Gomez for the men.
“Our chances are very good,” said Felix Hinojosa. Head Coach of the teams. “Not too many teams like to race week-to-week, but we train that way.”
Dana Eisenga, athletic, said he doesn’t know what to expect because this is not a 3 mile or 5 mile race.
The half marathon is a 13.1 mile race compared to the cross country races.
