Full Monty
UTEP presents “The Full Monty,” based on the hit British
film that was nominated for a Best Picture Academy Award. Dinner Performances
are held Oct. 27, 28, Nov. 1-3, and 8-11 at 7 p.m. The Matinee Dinner
Performance is held Oct. 29, at 2:30 p.m. The No Dinner Matinee Performances
are held at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 5 and 12. For more information call 747-6060.
Turkey
Run
EPCC Intramural Sports is presenting a Turkey Run on Nov. 22. The
distance of the race is about 1.5 miles and starts and finishes in
front of VV Gym. Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers
for male and female. Students are encouraged to sign-up the day of
the race between 12:30-1:15. All EPCC students race for free as long
as a college ID is presented.
Real
Women Have Curves
EPCC Theater Ensemble presents “Real Women Have Curves”
a play by Josefina Lopez and Directed by Cornelia Patterson. “Told
from the perspective of 18-year-old, Ana, a second generation Mexican-American.”
Parental discretion is advised. The play will be held on Nov. 9-11
at 7:30 p.m. at the EPCC TM Forum Theater. Tickets range from $5-10

Bench
Press Contest
EPCC Intramural Sports presents a bench pressing contest Nov 27 and
28. The contest is free to all EPCC students and will be held at the
VV weight room during open recreation hours. T-shirts and acrylic
trophies will be awarded.
Radiation
Therapy open house
The EPCC Radiation Therapy Technology program will be hosting the
second annual open house for National Radiological Technology month
on Nov. 15 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, contact Marie

Projects presents writing workshops
Well respected poet and educator Robin Scofield will be presenting
a series of writing workshops on Nov. 4, 11, 18, 25 and Dec. 2, 9,
and 16. Artist and cultural and political organizer Donna Snyder will
also be giving a writing workshop on Dec. 16. Events will be held
at Memorial Park Public Library on Saturday afternoons from 12:45-2:45.
The cost is free, but donations are accepted. For more information,
