Leon Metz to speak
Local Historian and Writer, Leon Metz will speak at EPCC, RG campus, on Oct. 25 at 7:45 a.m. in room A114. He will be speaking on Cultural Diversity in El Paso. All students and instructors are invited to attend.

Detective Joe Trudeau to speak
All students and instructors are invited to hear Detective Joe Trudeau from the El Paso Department to speak. The speech is dealing with non-verbal communication and how to tell what signals you are getting from a person that might prevent you from getting shot and how to tell if people are lying or telling the truth. The dates are Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. in room B210 and Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. in room B303 at RG campus. Passionately Pink for the Cure
Help us paint EPCC pink by participating in the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s “Passionately Pink for the Cure” during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Donate $5 anytime at any Campus Life Office from now until Oct. 27 and wear your favorite pink shirt, tie, hat, socks, slacks, or accessories to our Passionately Pink presentations. Presentations will be held at all EPCC campuses. RG on Oct. 23 at 11 a.m. at the Upper Tier, NW on Oct. 24 at 9:30 a.m. at the Library, VV on Oct. 26 at 10 a.m. at the Cafeteria Annex, TM on Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. in the Mall Area, and MdP on Oct. 25 at 11.30 a.m. in room A103. Personal Money Management
EPCC Students in Free Enterprise Team present “Personal Money Management.” Everyone is invited to attend this free seminar on Nov. 1 from 3-4:30 p.m. at VV campus in room A1510. The seminar will cover Creating a Personal Budget, Managing your Credit and Handling your Debt. There will be free refreshments and no reservations are required. Social Security Benefits for Everyone
EPCC Students in Free Enterprise Team present “Social Security Benefits for everyone.” This free seminar will be held on Oct. 25 from 3-4:30 p.m. at VV campus in room A1510. Come and find out the answers to the following questions: do you know the benefits for which you are insured, do you know that you can work and still collect benefits and many more. The Full Monty
UTEP presents The Full Monty. Based on the hit British film that was nominated for a Best Picture Academy Award, The Full Monty is a definite crowd pleaser. Dinner Performances are held Oct. 27, 28, Nov. 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11 at 7 p.m. The Matinee Dinner Performance will be held Oct. 29, at 2:30 p.m. The No Dinner Matinee Performances are held at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 5 and 12, Please note that while the show is fast and fun filled, it does contain adult situations, language and partial nudity. Spooktacular
The Spooktacular Fall Family Fiesta will be held Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the El Paso Convention Center. Tickets are available for $3 in advance at all Good Time Stores and Super Stop locations. Door tickets are $5.00 for adults, $4 for children, and ages 2 and under get in free. This family-oriented event will feature non-stop live entertainment for all ages, pumpkin decorating, costume contests with prizes, free crafts, a toddler area, educational booths, jumping balloons, local vendors, and more. Proceeds from the event benefit local non-profit service agencies.

KIDS-N-CO
KIDS-N-CO. will be performing “Charlotte’s Web” Sept. 30 – Oct. 22 on weekend evenings and afternoons. For more information call (915) 351-1455 or go online to www.kidsnco.org

EPCC/Pepsi Golf Challenge
The event will be held at the Underwood Golf Complex on Friday, Oct. 27 starting at 10 a.m. The tournament is open to the first 24 teams that sign up.
The cost per team of four is $260. The proceeds collected will go toward EPCC Student-Athlete Scholarships. The deadline for registration and payment is Friday, Oct. 20. For more information contact John Turner at 751-9303 or Claudia Del Hierro at 831-2269.
