Muslim relations to be analyzed at NW campus library
Americans for Informed Democracy is sponsoring a program titled “Hope
and Hate: The Future of US-Muslim World Relations” at the Northwest
Campus at 4 p.m. Oct.10
“I think this is a very interesting topic, and we should get
our students involved in analyzing current problems in the world,”
said Monica Wong, head librarian. “Problems in the world and
policies used to solve them. I encourage everyone to come.”
Dr. Michael Craig, director of policy analysis and dialog at the Stanley
Foundation, will be the main speaker.
The Stanley foundation promotes multilateralism in international relations.

UTEP presents The Full Monty. Based on the hit British film that was
nominated for a Best Picture Academy Award, The Full Monty is a definite
crowd pleaser. Dinner Performances are held Oct. 27, 28, Nov. 1, 2,
3, 8, 9, 10, 11 at 7 p.m. The Matinee Dinner Performance is held Oct.
29, at 2:30 p.m. The No Dinner Matinee Performances are held at 2:30
p.m. Nov. 5 and 12, Please note that while the show is fast and fun
filled, it does contain adult situations, language and partial nudity.

Spooktacular
The Spooktacular Fall Family Fiesta will be held Saturday, Oct. 28
from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00
p.m. at the El Paso Convention Center. Tickets are available for $3.00
in advance at all Good Time Stores and Super Stop locations. Door
tickets are $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for children, and ages 2 and under
get in free.

Golf Challenge
The event will be held at the Underwood Golf Complex on Friday, Oct.
27 starting at 10 a.m. The tournament is open to the first 24 teams
that sign up. The cost per team of four is $260. The proceeds collected
will go toward EPCC Student-Athlete Scholarships. The deadline for
registration and payment is Friday, Oct. 20. For more information

One scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded each year. Students must
