Bookstore now online

The EPCC bookstore has just integrated a new link to its online service. Students may use this service once they have registered online to purchase textbooks and compare prices.

VV bookstore store manager Patricia Rodriguez has seen a 20 percent increase in online sales. Students who purchase online have the option of picking up the textbooks at the store or may request to receive them through the mail.

Since the college began its link from financial aid to Wells Fargo, financial aid charges are no longer accepted at the bookstores.

Although this is an inconvenience at time, the bookstore is trying to give students more options such as price match. This semester is the first where the college bookstores offered a price match promotion. The promotion is meant to match the price of any new or used textbook price to local textbook outlets in El Paso.

In addition to the new link and the price match promotion, the bookstore buys back used textbooks every day.

“Last year, we paid over a million dollars on used textbooks,” said Rodriguez.

To take advantage of these offers, students may visit any campus EPCC Bookstore or log on to http://epcc.bookstore.com.
