Salsa Festival-Dancing with the Anchors
The El Paso Festival Association is proud to announce the Second Annual Salsa Festival. The Salsa Festival will be held at Cohen Stadium on September 30 and October 1, 2006.
This year’s festival includes a special element, Dancing with the Anchors. All local television anchors were invited to participate and will be paired with local professional dancers. For more information please contact EPFA at (915) 351-1191.

VIVA MEXICO!
Malena Cano presents VIVA MEXICO! It’s a Historical Musical Extravaganza at the Chamizal National Memorial Theater. Performances will be held from Sept. 22-23, at 7 p.m. Sunday, September 24, at 4:00pm. Admission in advance is $12 and tickets are on sale at all EPCC Campus Cashiers.

The Full Monty
UTEP presents The Full Monty. Based on the hit British film that was nominated for a Best Picture Academy Award, The Full Monty is a definite crowd pleaser. Dinner Performances are held October 27, 28, November 1- 3, 8-11 at 7 p.m. The Matinee Dinner Performance is held October 29, at 2:30 p.m. The No Dinner Matinee Performances are held at 2:30 p.m., November 5 and 12, Please note that while the show is fast and fun-filled, it does contain adult situations, language and partial nudity. Frank Perez to Speak
Frank Perez, Communication Professor at UTEP, will give a speech on Cultural Diversity and Chicano Studies on Tuesday, September 26, 2006. The speech will be conducted at the EPCC’s Valle Verde campus, in conference room A121 at 11:30 a.m. All students and faculty are welcome to attend.

Introduction to Credit Analysis
EPCC and Wells Fargo present “Introduction to Credit Analysis.” Your financial well-being should be one of your main priorities. So much depends on your credit history and associated score. Do you know how this important information is created, reported, and used? Learn how to understand and evaluate your credit report at this hands-on workshop. This seminar is free and open to everyone on Wednesday, Sept. 27, from 3-4:30 p.m. at EPCC, VV campus-room A1510. There will be free refreshments. For more information call 831-3150. Spooktacular
The Spooktacular Fall Family Fiesta will be held Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the El Paso Convention Center. Tickets are available for $3 in advance at all Good Time Stores and Super Stop locations. Door tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for children, and ages 2 and under get in free. This family-oriented event will feature non-stop live entertainment for all ages, pumpkin decorating, costume contests with prizes, free crafts, a toddler area, educational booths, jumping balloons, local vendors, and more. Proceeds from the event benefit local non-profit service agencies.
