I think it's good cause it's less casualties. For the families it's good. It's hard to draw more people out because they can't just leave everything. There has been so much damage. I think it's a good start to withdraw 30,000. We only see what's on TV from here. I don't know how long it's going to take to withdraw all of them. It would have been nicer to not start the whole war in the first place, but since we're already there, we can't just pull all the troops out.
I think it's better to withdraw the 30,000 first, than all of them together. If we pull all of them out right away, the progress we made will be ruined. I think it would be better to pull them out earlier, since the 30,000 are just search groups anyway. I believe that we've come to a point, politically, where we can't do anything anymore. I think it's now up to them and their political leaders to decide what's going to happen.
I think we've been there too long and if we only pull out 30,000, it's not enough. I think we should pull all of them out and return to the U.S. People over there die for vain reasons and not for the cause we sent them over there for. I believe it would be better to pull all of them right now. The reason why we went over to Iraq was right but I believe that we stayed there too long. We should have our troops back by Christmas.
I think it's good because a lot of family members will come home. This way, we could give Iraqi people their freedom and the chance to establish their own government. I think eventually they should pull out more, little by little. Next summer is soon enough. If they pull them out too early, things over there will be even worse. Eventually, they will have to take everybody out. They should stay there until the people in Iraq are ready to establish their own government.
