The Disney College Program regularly visits the Valle Verde campus to inspire students to begin a paid
internship at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.
The positions offered at the resort are referred to as “roles,” which require not only an interview, but auditions and possibly a second interview.
Some roles include engineering, criminal justice, entertaining and financing.
Not only will the interns be interacting with customers, but also with professional Disney employees who specialize in their career field.
The program also allows students to gain college credit through different courses offered at the Walt Disney Resort, such as personal and professional development through networking sessions.
Those interested must be enrolled in a college or university.
The next Disney presentation is scheduled for April 11 at Valle Verde.
