EPCC’s faces in the crowd...
President Bush has stated that he will increase the U.S. military involvement in Iraq by over 20,000 troops. The Democrats in Congress oppose this decision and may try to cut funding for the troops. Where do you stand on the issue?

"I'm not for either one of them. I don't agree with the President sending more troops over there, or the Democrats cutting out the funding. I have a lot of friends, and their husbands who serve in the military. They told me that it's very stressful for them and they want to come home, but if the Democrats cut out the funding, the troops' condition will get worse."
"I don't like the idea of the President sending more troops over there. I don't think it's necessarily wrong for the Democrats to cut out the funding. By cutting out the funding, the troops will eventually get to come home. At the moment that they are already there, the troops need the money no matter what."
"The President shouldn't send any more troops to Iraq. It's their country and we should let them take care of themselves. I don't think the U.S. troops belong there in the first place. The Iraqis have all the rights to protect and defend themselves. It's good that the Democrats cut out the funding so that my taxes can be used more productively."
"I agree with the President completing his mission in Iraq and the Democrats shouldn't cut out the funding. It's necessary for our troops to be there and help the Iraqis. If it comes to a civil war between them, then that's another story. I don't think it's wise to lose our men when they'll do their own things anyway."
