Children
of Men, starring the new up and coming British actor, Clive Owen,
as Theo Faron and Claire-Hope Asheity as Kee, has already grossed
$27.5 million at the box office.

The film is packed full of action and emotion. The story is set 20
years in the future at the brink of the apocalypse.
It has been more than 18 years since any single woman has given birth
since all women have become infertile. Without the joyous laughter
of children, the reality that the human race will die off in less
than a century sets in and the world is in chaos. War, genocide and
terrorism are now the only and last acts of man.
The only hope for their crumbling world is an unborn child, miraculously
growing stronger everyday in the belly of Kee, a young, British-African
woman. The only hope for her child is the Human Project, an organization
whose sole purpose is to keep her safe from the terrors of war.
The movie features big names in Hollywood such as Julianne Moore,
as a terrorist leader and Michael Caine, as Theo’s endearing
mentor.
The film was based on the sci-fi novel, Children of Men, by the British
author Phyllis Dorothy James.
The film was directed and written by Alfonso Cuarón Orozco,
who studied film and philosophy at the National Autonomous University
of Mexico.
With a budget of $112 million dollars, a beautifully written screenplay,
and several outstandingly talented actors, Children of Men is sure
to satisfy.
Children of Men is the heart-pounding, edge of your seat, epic movie
of the year.
Step outside your civil and safe world and into the world of the future,
one of anarchy and vastly fleeting hope. Universal Studios has done
it again and brought us all an epic to talk about.
I find that this film is nothing short of creative fictional genius.
And to miss it, would be to miss out on one of the most provocative
pieces in cinematography to hit the big screen.
