My resolution is to quit smoking. Recently I saw on TV how cigarettes affect human bodies, and I realized that they are really harmful. I wanted to live forever and decided to give up smoking for good. I think so far I've accomplished my goal. Since New Year's, I haven't smoked a single cigarette. |
This year is the very first year I've tried a resolution. My resolution is counting my blessings. I came to realize how lucky I am and that I should notice that I have more. I'm also trying to establish better relationships with my friends and family by spending more time with them, and I hope to keep up with it.
I decided to return to college after six years, and I'm actually planning on finishing this time. I opened a couple of businesses and didn't have enough time to really focus on school. Now I'm trying to get a degree in business, and I'm also hoping to open a restaurant sometime this year.
My New Year's resolution is to go to a 5:30 a.m. church service. This is my first time doing this, and it has been difficult. I hope that going to church to pray will make this a better year. So far, I have been doing well. I haven't skipped a day and not planning on it.
