Mervin provided leadership to the board serving as Chairman for over 6 of those years. As a key member of the Foundation Board he generously gave of his time, funds, and commitment continually striving to do more for students and create new educational opportunities. The Foundation for El Paso Community College has risen to new levels because of Mervin Moore’s leadership, dedication and big heart. EPCC Culinary Arts Phase II & III

Help us expand our beautiful culinary arts complex and offer students expanded curriculum and broaden experiences by helping us complete phase II & III of the complex. Phase II would include a media area to allow for training on cooking demonstrations, and broadcasting experience. Phase III would allow us to build a micro-brewery allowing students to learn a new craft. Both phases would provide students with marketable industry skills making them more competitive to enter their desired career path.

EPCC Fine Arts Complex

Help us build an EPCC Fine Arts Complex at the Valle Verde Campus, bringing state of the art facilities and 1st rate performances closer to East El Paso. The Fine Arts Complex will house performance facilities for theater, music, dance, classrooms, rehearsal spaces, and an art gallery. Our complex would also be a place where student artists, as well as artists from the community, can exhibit their work and showcase their talents.
