El Paso and its neighbors are at a crossroads. With Ciudad Juárez, we have a rare opportunity to realize our full potential as the prime example of cross-border cooperation in the world.
This is evidenced by the great expansion of the role of Ft. Bliss, the development of the new Biological Research Facility at UTEP, the new Texas Tech Research Center and Medical School, rebirth of manufacturing in Juárez, and expanding high tech industry.
Our region has a wealth of talented, hard-working individuals who deserve the chance to be a part of this growth in our economy. In fact, if we provide them with the proper tools through expanded educational opportunities, our chances for quality growth will be much greater. As each person fulfills his or her potential, we will improve our chances to fulfill our true potential.

El Paso Community College continues to play a major role in the education of our citizens and expanding their frontiers. Whether this is done through the Dual Credit Program with area high schools, the traditional two-year certification program or as the preparation of students for a four-year university degree and beyond, the College is vital to student and community success.
El Paso Community College Foundation is dedicated to supporting the students of the College through the raising of scholarship funds. The scholarships, which are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and need, can mean the difference between the completion of an educational program and having to work full-time and forgo that opportunity. Your gift allows the Foundation to fulfill its mission and allows students to fulfill their life ambitions.
As a donor you may choose to support a specific scholarship; to help to expand the general scholarship fund; or, you may choose to contribute to the corpus of the foundation endowment and provide a continuing source of funding into the future.
Whatever course you choose, join the Foundation Board of Directors and me in this wonderful program to enhance the future of students and expand the Economic Development opportunities for the Paso del Norte Region.
Sincerely,
THE EL PASO COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION
