Getting Started
New students at EPCC must complete the following steps for admission to the college and Application for Department of Veterans Affairs Benefits.
At the Student Services (Admissions/Intake) area you must:
- Complete the college admissions application and submit copies of your high school transcript or GED Certificate, DD Form 214 and obtain a student referral checklist.
- Make appointments for placement testing, ($10.00 fee) to see an Academic Counselor and to obtain a degree plan.
At the Veterans Affair Office (VAO) you must:
- Pick up a Supplemental Guide to Certification (which includes your application for benefits).
- Speak to a VA Advisor. (Expect to receive benefits in approximately eight weeks from the time you submit all necessary paperwork.)
