Awards from financial aid programs are administered according to the laws and guidelines governing those programs. Priority is given to students with the greatest documented need whose complete applications are received by the March 15th priority date. Questions or Comments may be directed by email to:


FAFSA Application

Financial Aid assistance is available for those who qualify, completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is easier than ever with the integrated IRS Data Retrieval Tool.  We strongly recommend the use of this option to simplify the application process and to ensure a secure way to transfer all accurate data into the FAFSA application. Very important, make sure to activate and review your EPCC email account regularly. Make sure to constantly check your EPCC email account as we send all correspondence there.

Gainful Employment Disclosure Information:

Effective July 1, 2011, the Department of Education requires colleges to disclose consumer information in educational programs, participating in Federal Financial Aid Title IV programs. EPCC will disclose specific information regarding opportunities leading to gainful employment in recognized occupations that are being offered.

William D. Ford Direct Loan Program 

The Direct Loan program is available with specific requirements. 


Emergency Loans

Information about short term Institution tuition loans.



Several scholarships are available to qualified students.  Some scholarships have specific requirements related to the field of study, academic achievement, financial need or other criteria.



Exemptions are a type of financial assistance allowing some Texas residents to attend a public college or university in Texas without paying tuition or, in some cases, tuition and fees. 


Veterans Affairs

As a Veteran, you qualify for specific benefits, including financial aid or special tuition rates.

PIN replaced by FSA ID User Name & Password

Effective May 10, 2015 The Department of Education (DOE) implemented a more secure and modernized log-in process replacing the PIN usage. All users of any of the DOE systems are required to create an FSA ID user name and password. The Financial Aid Office encourages you to obtain yours as soon as possible. Create your new FSA ID now, click here.
