Associate of Arts
The Associate of Arts degree (A.A.) and Associate of Science (A.S.) are designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university. The A.A. and A.S. degrees require 42 credit hours from the Core Curriculum and 18-24 credit hours from the Field of Study or particular area. Students must earn a minimum of 60 credits to graduate with the A.A. or A.S. degree.
Associate of Arts in Teaching degree (A.A.T.) is designed for students interested in completing an education degree at four- year college or university. The A.A.T. degree requires 42 credit hours from the Core Curriculum and 18-24 credit hours from the AAT degree options.
Associate of Applied Science
The Associate of Applied Science degree plan is for students seeking specialized credentialing or certification for employment. This program is designed to give students both practical and theoretical background in a specialized area.
Certificate of Completion is a program of study requiring less than 60 credit hours for completion. These programs are normally designed to provide short term training necessary to develop entry-level job skills without requiring completion of an Associate degree.
