Anime and Gamer Society

The purpose of this club is for the promotion of Japanese animation (also known as Anime and Japan animation), video games and to serve as a place to meet like-minded individuals, exchange ideas and discuss their interests in a friendly setting. As an EPCC club, AGS will also provide for an alternate form of entertainment on campus.

Art Student Society

This is an organization which furthers the cultural enrichment and education of its members and community through traveling, exhibition and visiting. The society contributes to EPCC Art Department, in order to aid and support annual Spring Arts Festival. Also, this club works to form a community of art students who work for the mutual support of each other.

Ballet Folklorico

This club's purpose is to (1) promote an awareness and appreciation of the Hispanic culture as well as other cultures through music and dance (2) to educate students regarding the history and origin of dances from various cultures (3) to help other people in our community.

Film Conspiracy Unit

This Club's purposes are to encourage students to work together as a team to write, act, film, and produce a full lenght film; to develop skills attributed to creating a film production; to allow students interested in film to have an opportunity to experience an advance level of motion picture production; to learn the foundations of how to create a quality production; to have studentes gain professional personal growth and learn communication skills that can be applies in career options associated with any type of communications field.

Guitar Group

The group's goal is to plant a seed of Rondalla music in other colleges, especially along the Mexican border. To this day the group continues to be open those willing to learn and join the Rondalla, and occasionally includes modern music in their repertoire. This is an organization that cultivates, promotes and maintains interest in Criminal Justice and related areas. Provides a unified voice for professionals in, and students of, criminal justice. Promotes professional, academic, and public awareness of criminal justice issues. Improves criminal justice through educational activities. Does volunteer work related to criminal justice. Encourages the establishment and expansion of higher education and professional training in criminal justice. Promotes high standards of ethical conduct, professional training, and higher education within the criminal justice field. Finally, inspires collegiality among future criminal justice workers so that they may work cooperatively in the field.

Sign Language Coomunication

The purpose of the SIGN Club is to increase understanding and enhanced communication access among the deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing individuals at El Paso Community College and the professional and service organizations in El Paso, Texas and the surrounding border communities. The SIGN Club sponsors and supports activities and projects that develop and promote sign language and interpreting skills for EPCC students and our diverse trilingual community.

Teen Survivor

The objectives of this organization are to raise awareness of the many difficult issues facing our pre-teens in our community; to "SAVE" as many kids as possible, by conducting Survival Fairs through our local middle schools, for children and their parents; to develop the spirit of "Teen Survivors" that celebrates our accomplishments as college students and what we can give back to our community; to apply our knowledge gained through coursework in a "real-life" setting; and to grow the Teen Survivor program by promotion, fundraising, and other forms of support.
