Student Organizational Council Manual

Welcome Advisors to Student Leadership and Campus Life!

We know the college experience for our students is what they make it. If your student is committed to succeeding academically; is willing to work hard and participate in the colleges co-curricular programs then their college experience will be positive and will provide them with life-long memories.

The Department of Student Leadership and Campus Life appreciates the time, effort and responsibilities you commit to when making your students’ college experience a pleasant and rewarding one. This handbook is designed for student organizations, advisors, officers, members and anyone wanting to learn more about student organizations at EPCC. It is designed to help you familiarize yourself with the policies and procedures that you need to follow. In addition, the handbook will serve as a resource guide in learning how to run an effective student organization. It includes most of the essential forms you will need, helpful hints, as well as College and District policies and procedures related to student organizations.

Please review the material in this handbook or on your accompanying CD and familiarize ypurself with them. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Cynthia Salinas at 831-3230, or myself at 831-2712.

Again, we appreciate your hard work and support of student organizations. Have a great semester.
