The IT/Web Development Department particpated in it's first Faculty Development Workshop, by demonstrating to the faculty members, current and new, the advantages of having an up-to-date website. Students will be able to download lecture notes, test reviews, study guides, and access links to additional, informative websites that will further their studies. Faculty Websites will also have general information about the instructor, office hours, and contact numbers should the students need them.

 

Participationg in our first Faculty Development Orientation was an educational experience for our Web Team; it provided an opportunity to hone our customer-service skills, as well as learning interactive skills with the faculty department on a whole. The STS Students assigned to the Web Development Department received first-hand experience on interacting with clients, and the business end of Website Design.
