The EPCC GED® Testing Center is an official Pearson Vue Authorized Testing Center. The GED® Test measures high school equivalency and is fully aligned with state and national college and career readiness standards. The test can be taken in both English and Spanish languages and can be combined. Special testing accommodations are available when approved by GED Testing Services (GEDTS), Washington, DC.
To be eligible to take the GED® and earn a Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency you must be an adult Texas resident, age 18 and over. Seventeen year-olds may test only with parental permission and verification that they are not enrolled in high school. Sixteen year olds may be tested only by court order.
On the testing day, you will be required to provide documentation to verify your identity and residency.
We adhere to the policies from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and GEDTS. Our test rooms are equipped with electronic observation systems to insure a secure test environment.
