Q1. I have a hold on my account. Who do I contact to remove the hold?

Answer:


Log on to your Banner Web Account to find out what type of Hold your account has and call the designated department listed on your Banner account.



Q2. How do I make a payment?

Answer:


- Go to the EL Paso Community College website.
- Click on Current Students then click the Online Payment tab and sign in,
- You can pay your bill from checking, savings or by credit card. (Visa, Mast, Disc, Amex) Don't forget to call the Tuitions department at 915-831-2141 to inform them of your payment so they can clear any holds or payment plans that have a balance.


Q3. Can I pay by checking or savings online?

Answer:


You can make online payments from your checking or savings accounts.

- Sign in with your EPCC Id number and PIN
- Click on the Online Payment tab
- Select checking or savings from the payment method drop down
- Electronic check payments require a bank routing number and account number
- Payments can be made from a bank accounts
- Payments returned by the bank are considered nonpayment and may result in cancellation of registration. A $38.00 charge will be assessed for returned items, Must be paid in Cash and in person.



Q4. Can I pay by credit card online?

Answer:


We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS.

- Sign in with your EPCC Id number and PIN
- Click on the Online Payment tab
- Select credit card from the payment method drop down
- Payments can be made from a personal checking account



Q5. Can I store my method of payment so that I don’t have to enter it every time I make a payment?

Answer:


No. This feature is no longer offered.



Q6. My parents pay my bills. Can you just send the e-mail to them?

Answer:


You may assign your parents as an authorized user to your eBills account for the purposes of making a payment on your behalf. Please note that authorized users DO NOT have access to your stored payment methods, academic records, or other personal information.

- Sign in with your EPCC Id and PIN
- Click the Authorized Users tab
- Enter your parents’ e-mail address, and follow the instructions
- They will get an e-mail notification at the same time you do that your bill is ready to view and pay



Q7. I have a sponsor that pays my tuition. Can you just send the e-mail to them?

Answer:


You may assign your sponsor as an authorized user to your eBills account for the purposes of making a payment on your behalf. Please note that authorized users DO NOT have access to your stored payment methods, academic records, or other personal information.

- Click the Authorized Users tab
- Enter your sponsor’s e-mail address, and follow the instructions
- They will get an e-mail notification at the same time you do that your bill is ready to view and pay



Q8. Does EPCC offer a payment plan?

Answer:


Yes, Students may enroll for an EPCC Payment Plan to spread their tuition and other charges for the semester into 3 payments. Half down plus a $10.00 processing fee and the other half into two payments. The EPCC Payment Plan allows you to pay in payments.

Q9 When was my last payment received?

Answer:


To verify the receipt of a payment:

- Sign in with your student Id and PIN
- Click the eBills tab



Q10 How do I get a financial aid refund check or direct deposit electronically?

Answer:


You must sign up for electronic refunds for Credit balance refunds resulting from excess financial aid can be processed electronically to your checking or savings account

- Sign-in with your EPCC student Id and PIN
- Click on the Refunds tab and follow the easy step by step instructions



Q11 How do I get my refund for dropping a class electronically?

Answer:


You must sign up for electronic refunds for Credit balance refunds resulting from overpayments, dropped course, et cetera, can be processed electronically to your checking or savings You can have refunds sent to whichever bank account profile you choose You can add a new bank account profile or edit an existing one to accept refunds

- Sign-in with your EPCC student Id and PIN
- Click on the Refunds tab
- Follow the easy step by step instructions



Q12. What if the person paying the bill does not have access to the Internet?

Answer:


It is the student’s responsibility to provide a copy of the bill to the person paying the bill. Payment by check, cash or credit card can be made on campus at the Campus Cashier Office, Monday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.



Q13. Can I get a paper bill instead of an eBills?

Answer:


If you want a paper copy of your bill, you can print a copy of your bill by accessing eBills, selecting the EBills tab, selecting the bill needed in the View Statement drop down, clicking Print This Statement, then selecting File, Print or pressing CTRL-P to print the bill. Students can use any of the computer labs on campus to print a statement.



Q14. What if I don’t know my EPCC e-mail address or password?

Answer:


Call the EPCC IT Help Desk at 831-6440.



Q15. I prefer not to use the EPCC student e-mail system. Can I forward my EPCC e-mail to a different email account?

Answer:


- Enter the alternate email account by clicking on Payment Profiles
- Under Personal Profile, type in the alternate email address



Q16. My credit card was charged twice. What should I do?

Answer:


Call the Bursar Office at (915) 831-2820. Please make sure you have your student id, the amount of the payment, the credit card number, credit card expiration date and the date the payments were made.



Q17. I made a payment on eBills and I do not see the payment posted to my student account. What should I do?

Answer:


Call the Bursar Office at (915) 831-2569. Please make sure you have your student id, the amount of the payment, the credit card number, credit card expiration date and the date the payments were made.

Q18. What can TouchNetAccount do for me?

Answer:


Save time – no more waiting for the bill in the mail and no more waiting in line to pay your bill. In addition:

- Secure log-in for students with an EPCC ID and PIN
- Students can enable others to become authorized user to view and/or pay eBills
- Secure log-in for authorized users with user name and password created by the student
- View prior statements up to a year
- View payment history
- Ability to access and print eBills
- Schedule monthly payments from your credit card or bank account
- Receive refunds electronically to your checking or savings account
- Receive payment notices via your my.epcc.edu e-mail



Q19. What does TouchNetAccount consist of?

Answer:


- EBills allows you to view your account summary and recent account activity
- Payments allow you to make payments by credit card, savings and checking, view your
  payment history and schedule payments
- Payment Plans allows you to sign up for a payment plan
- Refunds allow you to set up an account to receive refunds electronically and view refund history
- Authorized Users allows you to authorize a third party entity to make payments on your behalf
- My Profile allows you to enter required information for refunds, schedule payments, store preferred methods of
  payment, and authorize third party entities



Q20. Why TouchNetAccount?

Answer:


The TouchNetAccount is a convenient way to view your account that eliminates mailing delays and waiting for paper bills mailed via the US Postal Service



Q21. How do I access my account balance?

Answer:


Sign in with your EPCC Id number and PIN (If you need to reset your Pin, contact the IT Help Desk at 831-6440)
Students can access balance by clicking on the eBills tab, and then click the Recent Account Activity tab
Click on current item, select term and click on Go to view account balance
Also, EPCC will notify you of your monthly bill via your my.epcc.edu e-mail.
