Distance Learning Classroom Equipment List

The equipment listed below is available in each of the distance learning classrooms.

• Polycom VSX8800MP video conferencing system. The system connects over IP (Internet) and provides television quality video.

• Auxiliary Camera - shows the teacher and can be remotely controlled.

• Main Camera - shows students, and can be remotely controlled.

• Document Camera - shows documents or objects and is used to send computer images for viewing.

• DVD/VCR Combination Player.

• Multimedia Computer - Windows XP, Microsoft Office Suite with presentation software, Internet access, and multimedia capablity.

• Wireless Lavaliere Microphone - for teachers' use, allows teachers to freely move around in the classroom.

• Desktop Microphones - for students' use.

• Fax/Copier/Printer - a multifunction unit used to send and receive faxes, make copies, and print from the computer.

• Telephones - a speaker phone and a conference phone to conduct audio only conferences.
