PREP

 About Us

The PREP Program provides students an opportunity to prepare for the college placement test. An individualized case management approach is used to determine academic background and goals. A diagnostic assessment is conducted, and computer assisted modules are used for intervention. The PREP Program was the winner of the prestigious Texas Higher Education STAR Award in 2008. The STAR Awards recognize exemplary contributions toward closing educational gaps that challenge the state. PREP received the honor of being number one.

The following table summarizes the placement success rates of students who completed their intervention program and placed out of at least one developmental education course. Course placement results are based on the Accuplacer placement test.
