The El Paso Community College Advanced Technology Center (ATC) located at the Valle Verde Campus, provides an entry-level training and skill upgrade courses in state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies. Courses are offered on campus , or on the company  site and include: CNC/CAD/CAM Systems, Precision Manufacturing Technology, Electrical Journeymen, Industrial Maintenance to include Robotics, Automation, Diesel Mechanic, and Quality Assurance. The goal is to increase the skills of the current labor pool, to encourage expansion of existing companies, and to help facilitate the relocation of new industry to El Paso. In addition, apprenticeship programs in machining, tool & die/mold making, industrial maintenance, and construction practices are offered in conjunction with local industry and the Department of Labor.
