Interior Design

 Course Overview

Interior Design continues to be a dynamic and growing profession. Here at EPCC, our program has provided the design industry with creative, qualified, and knowledgeable designers for over 25 years.  We remain strong, committed and moving forward with education, technology, and success.

Defined Design is a planned arrangement where basic elements and principles work together to create a pleasing, functional and safe environment.

The designer is an individual that can accommodate all the basic elements to produce a well organized and aesthetically pleasing space. These individuals are creative, imaginative, and artistic. Combine their knowledge with artistic vision, they can work with clients and develop design solutions that are safe, functional and attractive.

El Paso Community College offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in Interior Design Technology  and  a one year Certificate of Completion Program.  Each can lead the student to a career in one of the most dynamic professions available.

Our facilities include fully equipped fabric and a finished library, State-of-the-art equipment, the latest software programs utilized in the design industry, a resource library, and a licensed instructor/program Coordinator
