  • Split System
  • Rooftop Package Unit
  • Domestic Refrigerants
  • Window Unit

Graduates that receive an education in this field can find employment in:

  • Heating/Air Conditioning
  • Installer-Servicer
  • Evaporative Cooler Installer
  • Furnace Installer
  • Utilities Equipment Repairer
  • Self Employed

Potential salary range can vary from $40,000 (Texas) a year to 80,000(Nationwide) starting and up to $100,000 a year with experience.


Associate of Applied Science

This two-year program prepares the student for employment in the heat transfer industries. Course content provides theory and practical experience in this field. The capstone course for the AAS Degree is HART 2380, Cooperative Education-Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology / Technician.


Certificate of Completion

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning

This one-year Certificate of Completion program prepares the student for employment in the heat transfer industries. Course content provides theory and practical experience in the field. Students are required to obtain a basic tool kit and OSHA-approved safety glasses.

Residential HVAC Technician​​

This one-year Certificate of Completion program prepares students for employment in the heat transfer of Residential HVAC. Course content provides theory and practical experience in the field. The Capstone course for the Certificate of Completion is the 410 Certification provided by INSCO..

Students are required to obtain a basic tool kit and OSHA-approved safety glasses.
